Some work doesn’t feel like work at all. It feels like purpose. Like helping someone do something that really matters. This is one of those stories.
We first met Saundra Davis in 2020 while building Meant2BFree, a financial coaching app. She saw what we were creating and believed in it from day one. Later, we had the opportunity to experience her work firsthand by sitting in on one of her trainings. What stood out immediately was the depth of her mission. She wasn’t just teaching financial concepts. She was training coaches to help people navigate the emotional, psychological, and societal challenges tied to money. From that point on, this wasn’t just a client relationship. It was a shared commitment to the work.
Sage Financial Solutions had already built something powerful. Their programs were strong, their impact was real, and their team was deeply committed to the people they serve. Like many growing organizations, they were making the most of the tools they had, adapting and building processes along the way.
Over time, as their work expanded, it became harder for their systems to keep up with their vision. Their learning experience and operational tools lived in different places, program data was spread across platforms, and evaluating trainee progress required extra manual effort. There wasn’t a single, clear view of coaches, trainees, and outcomes. Not because the work wasn’t there, but because the systems had not yet caught up to support it at scale.
We partnered with SFS to thoughtfully evolve their technology ecosystem, building on what already existed and aligning it with where they were going. The goal was not to replace their work, but to support it in a more connected and sustainable way.
We built a brand-new WordPress website focused entirely on course delivery using LearnDash, creating a structured and easy-to-follow experience for trainees working toward certification.
To support instructors, we developed a custom WordPress plugin that allows coaches to review trainee assignments directly within the platform, provide structured feedback, and track progress without needing to switch between tools. This simplified the evaluation process while keeping everything grounded in the experience they were already familiar with.
We then integrated the platform with Salesforce to create a complete, real-time view of the organization. This allows Sage Financial Solutions to track trainees, coaches, and certifications in one place, monitor program progress and outcomes, and connect learning activity directly to operational reporting. The result is a connected ecosystem where the website delivers the experience, Salesforce manages the data, and automations support the flow between both in the background.
With this new foundation, Sage Financial Solutions now operates with greater clarity and support behind the work they were already doing. Coaches can evaluate trainees directly within the platform, trainees have a seamless learning and certification experience, and leadership has real-time insight into program performance. The organization is now positioned to grow its programs without adding unnecessary operational strain. Most importantly, their technology now reflects the strength of their mission and the depth of their impact.
